Class Descriptions

Yoga Classes

Ashtanga Flow:

All levels Yoga class flowing with the classical Ashtanga Vinyasa postures. This is a fun adaptation of the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice, blending poses from all 4 series together with safe and fluid sequencing.

Chakra Flow:

A class designed to move the energy fluidly and balanced throughout the body. Stimulating and calming each chakra in order to find union and balance in the body and mind. Some classes might focus on one chakra or several.

Vinyasa Flow:

A balanced class moving the breath and body with a steady, but challenging, all levels pace. This class is not a fast paced, aerobics or exercise class. We will guide you through traditional postures, linked with breath, in order to begin the focusing of the mind, which is the goal of yoga.

Hatha Yoga

A little slower, but can still be a flow; more yoga pose breakdown, details about body alignment and mechanics, teaching with props to assist your body; learn traditional applications of yoga including: postures, pranayama, and meditation.

Restorative Yoga:

This class focuses on releasing tension, connecting with the breath, and helping students restore their bodies and minds. Restorative yoga uses props to provide each student with variations and modifications to accommodate all bodies. This is Yoga with a softer, nurturing approach. Practice relaxation, stretching, movement, and mindfulness in a safe and supportive environment.

Integrative Sound Bath:

The sound vibrations of the sound healing instruments penetrate deep into the tissue, improving blood circulation and reducing muscle tension while you explore, relaxation postures and optional Yin postures. Practice breathing, optional stretching, and relaxing as you absorb the healing qualities of the sound tools.

Slow Flow:

Strengthening but slow pace, use strength to move rather than momentum, slow pace gives you time to move into the pose with a short hold before moving on to the next, great for newer students looking to still build some strength and heat.

Somatic Yoga:

Tune in to your body and enjoy freedom of movement. This class will use stretches, props, breathing exercises, Yoga postures, and creative methods of movement to tune up your nervous system and musculoskeletal system for immune and respiratory health. This class is your time to explore your body, movement, your mind and your Self.

Yoga Rope Wall:

Wall based practice using ropes to hold on to for balance and assistance in challenging postures, learn the alignment and set up of traditional yoga postures, great myofascial release and pain reduction from using the ropes to aid in spinal traction. Watch for our pop-up rope wall series as they are scheduled.

Special Instructions:

Online pre-registration and prepayment is required for this class.

Aerial Yoga:

Aerial Yoga is a hybrid of Yoga and Aerial Arts using a hammock to help deepen stretches, build strength, and open your mind to new ways of exercise movement. This class is the best way to prepare for more advanced Circus classes. We recommend this class to build strength in grip and core and increase mobility and range of motion in stretching. This is a challenging class, but your instructor will offer modifications to make your strengthening journey safe and enjoyable.

Special Instructions:

Online pre-registration and prepayment is required before attending.

What to Wear: Please wear long, close-fitting pants or leggings that cover the entire back of the knee. The midriff should be covered to protect the skin from the fabric. Ensure there are no zippers or buckles on clothing and prior to class please remove watches, bracelets, rings, and any hanging earrings.

Pilates:

Pilates, originally called "Contrology," is an exercise method to increase strength, flexibility, stamina, and concentration. Focus is on stretching and strengthening the entire body while promoting proper posture, a healthy spine, a strong core, and elongating the body lines and muscles. This class is spent on our mats, and you can plan on working rigorously but with no impact on the joints. Strengthening, stretching, and toning the whole body are just a few of the benefits you'll see.

"You are only as young as your spine is flexible." --Joseph Pilates

Circus Classes

Circus class packages and pricing includes: Pole, Lyra, Silks, & Sling classes.

Pole Dance: Our poles are 40 mm poles and are 13 feet, floor to ceiling. Poles can be static or spin.

All-levels pole class works skills & transitions from beginner to advanced. Multi-level skills classes are key to safe training. Your level and ability will change from day to day, and the safest way to train is always from simple to complex. Warm up with simple movements and pole skills and progress as you are ready to more complex floor and pole work. Heels are always welcome, and knees pads highly recommended.

This is an all-levels class, but that does not mean easy! Be prepared to work the same skill over and over until you are ready to progress to the next level. This is a multi-level curriculum class which means there may be students practicing at many levels of our curriculum. We offer modifications to all levels, however we will monitor each participant's progression and offer individual guidance; students are expected to work independently at their appropriate level of practice.  Weight limit is 350lbs.

Grip: Students will be working on building comfort with grip, but grip aids can be a valuable tool for training. For an optimal experience, users should consider purchasing a grip aid. Lotions that contain oils will make grip nearly impossible. We recommend lotions that are free of oils. Some of our recommended lotions include: Cerave, Eurcerin, and Glysolid.

Aerial Silks: our silks are rigged at 13 feet and are designed for aerial dance.

Learn fundamentals to build up to higher level skills. This class will be beginner friendly, and will focus on building solid fundamental skills on the Aerial Silks. The fundamentals are important in order to move on to more complex skills and shapes, such as dives, drops, and rolls. While this is all-levels and is beginner friendly, it is not aimed at beginners.
