Yoga

Yoga teachers will often refer to "your practice," which means your individual experience with yoga as it develops over time. The amazing thing about yoga is that your practice is always evolving and changing, so it never gets boring. Although the poses themselves do not change, your relationship to them will.

Anyone can start a yoga practice, even if you don't feel like you are very flexible or very strong. These things will improve the longer you practice. Another great thing about thinking about "your practice" is that it encourages the noncompetitive spirit of yoga. One of the most difficult, but ultimately most liberating things about yoga is letting go of the ego and accepting that no one is better than anyone else. Everyone is just doing their best on any given day.

Hatha Flow allows Yogis to experience the flow of a Vinyasa class combined with the alignment focused Hatha foundations. We will flow within the standing series allowing time within each pose to focus on alignment and foundations

  • Power Yoga
The name Power Yoga says it all. It is one of the several types of Yoga that has the same potential of emulating a rigorous full-body workout and promotes mental stability and concentration. Power Yoga is done by doing a series of Yoga Poses while synchronizing one’s breathing patterns to each movement, or Vinyasa, resulting in actions with perfect unity and grace. But despite its vigorous approach in Yoga, Power Yoga still focuses on the general aim of Classical Yoga, which is to unite the body, mind, and spirit. It uses traditional Yoga practices in order to tap in to the inner core of one’s power and to help this individual to recognize the different levels of power that are deep within.

  • Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and revitalizing practice that encourages rest and resets the body, mind and spirit. Deep relaxation is achieved when the body feels it is in a nurturing and supportive environment. To create this environment, restorative yoga uses Yoga Props and a soothing atmosphere that helps the body release stress. Whether you are looking to de-stress, energize, or find balance restorative yoga can be an effective way to reach your goals for wellness.

  • Restorative Yoga with Thai Massage

Also, a wonderful practice for intermediate to advanced students to allow their practice to slow down and deepen.

  • Vinyasa Flow All Levels
This hatha yoga vinyasa flow class aligns breath and movement for a practice that will stimulate both the body and mind. This all levels practice will guide you through an active warm up of stretching and balancing asanas, before moving intodeep heating and strengthening poses. The flowing arc of hold and release is followed by soothingcooling postures, meant to restore balance that will carry you through your day.

  • Yin Flow
Yin yoga is the perfect antidote to stress and a great counter balance to more active styles of yoga. Yin Yoga postures are typically held for 3-5 minutes to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, leaving the Yogi with an overall feeling of lightness, spaciousness and peace.

Combining Yin poses with a slow asana flow is a great way to open the outer shell of our body and create space to flow into the deeper tissues and muscles. This Yin-flow Yoga class moves at a progressive pace in which the deep Yin Yoga stretches prepare us for strengthening, revitalizing and more active yoga poses. This sprinkling of Yin poses throughout easy, flowing poses will open the door to a balanced sense of lightness and ease in your body and your mind.
