Aerial Yoga

Tuesdays, Thursdays
6:45 pm –7:45pm

Sundays
11:15 am – 12:15am

Using the aerial hammocks as a prop, we explore the yoga postures from all different perspectives. Grounded postures will teach you yoga with at least one leg or body part on the floor. Flying postures will take you to the sky with your yoga poses. Inverted postures allow you to explore inversions with the assistance and support of the hammock. This class is all levels! No experience required.

Alignment Yoga

Wednesdays
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Here we teach you the importance of alignment in yoga postures. Learn how to align your body in each posture with the use of props (we love props). We use chairs, blocks, blankets, wheels, sandbags, poles, bolsters, straps, and the rope wall to explore alignment based yoga. This is not a flow class. This class is all levels, and especially helpful for beginners.

Yoga Basics

Mondays
9:30 am – 10:30 am

Sundays
5 pm – 6 pm

Learn the basics of the yoga practice from movement to breathing and stillness. Basics teachers will provide you with the foundations to start or deepen your yoga practice with progressions and modifications working from the ground up. Learn foundation, alignment, and how to transition from pose to pose with safety and mindfulness. This is a great class for beginners, but continuing students can benefit from this grounding class as well.

Slow Yoga Flow

Thursdays
9:30 am – 10:30 am

Slow flow is the best kind of flow! Take it slow and build focus and mindfulness. Like a meditative movement, this flow will guide you through slow transitions and experiences in your yoga practice. You will be treated with a restorative posture at the end to give you time to savor and understand the movement of your body.

Heated Yoga

Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays
8 am – 9 am

Thursdays
9:30 am – 10:30 pm

Thursdays
6:45 pm – 7:45 pm

This is our favorite class in the wintertime! We love to turn up the heat, but only just a little bit, because a little goes a long way. We turn it up to just about 85 degrees; just enough to warm you up to supple movement, but not so much that you will risk stretching too deep into false flexibility. You will be treated at the end of class with an essential oil soaked hand towel that will invigorate and cool you after your practice.

All Levels Yoga

Mondays, Wednesdays
6:45 pm – 7:45 pm

Tuesdays, Fridays
4:15 - 5:15 pm

Tuesdays
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Saturdays
9:15 am - 10:15 am

Sundays
8 am - 9 am

Sundays
10 am - 11 am

All levels welcomes everyone from beginners to advanced. We love practicing with all levels in the same class so we can learn from and inspire each other. Progressions and modifications will be taught to approach all postures from differing levels and abilities. This class is great for beginning students to learn the postures and also to be able to see where those postures can take you. Continuing students get an opportunity to continue to explore modifications and progressions to keep building strength and focus.

Gentle Yoga

Sundays
6:15 pm – 7:15 pm

Take it easy in our gentle yoga class. Easy stretches, restorative postures, and healing postures. Use this class to begin a practice or to take a break from vigorous practice. This is a great class to get back into the practice if you are coming back from an injury or illness. Please make sure to let your teacher know before class if you are on the mend from any injuries or illnesses.

Mindful Recovery Gentle Yoga

Wednesdays
9:30 am – 10:30 am

In what area of your life are you looking for some serenity and some recovery? Physical? Mental? Emotional? Spiritual? Relational? Using timeless yogic wisdom, foundational principles of the twelve steps, and yoga asana (postures), this class will explore a different theme each month as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. This class is open to and appropriate for all levels, beginner to advanced.

Yoga Tune Up

Wednesdays
6:45 pm – 7:45 pm

Yoga Tune Up® is a blend of traditional yoga asana and corrective exercise principles used to highlight joint mobility and stability. Therapeutic self-massage techniques using specially designed therapy balls enhance this unique combination of stretching, mobilization, and relaxation work. This practice may include work at the rope wall, as well as the use of other props to facilitate myofascial release and gentle relaxation. This class is led by certified YTU teacher, Tiffany Holmes.

Yoga Flow

Mondays, Fridays
12 pm – 1 pm

Tuesdays
6:45 pm – 7:45 pm

Wednesdays, Thursdays
4:15 pm - 5:15 pm

Thursdays
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

This class is for those who enjoy moving. Flow may be a bit faster paced, but still will be all levels. Move at your own pace with the guidance of your natural breath and body awareness. Transitions will be used to tie together traditional yoga postures in a creative and fun flow. Play with arm balances and inversions and how to string these together and weave them into a yoga practice.

Power Yoga

Mondays
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Tuesdays
9:30 am – 10:30 am

Fridays
9:30 am – 10:30 am

Tap into your inner power with this class. Twists, core heating postures, and don't forget leg day! We do it all in this class. Power doesn't mean advanced, it just means challenging yourself a little extra to break through obstacles and barriers in your body and your mind. Use your inner power and your inner compass to determine how intense or gentle you need to be to yourself at any given point in your life. This is power yoga!

Yoga Rope Wall

Wednesdays
9:30 am – 10:30 am

Saturdays
10:30 am – 11:30 am

The Yoga Rope Wall is an Iyengar style of practicing yoga, using ropes on the wall for alignment, support, strength, and flexibility. The ropes will allow you to build strength and flexibility while learning the proper alignment for your body. When you practice on your mat without the ropes, you will be able to tap into the same sensations as you experienced using the ropes. The ropes will teach you a lot about how to safely approach a standing practice. This is a great class for beginners and continuing students.

Circus Classes

Studio Seva Circus classes are taught on mixed apparatus, including Lyra, Silks, Rope, Trapeze, Cloud, and Loops. While this class does require upper body strength for more advanced moves, you don't need to be the Hulk to start building that upper body strength!

Anyone can try the circus class, and within just weeks you will notice an improvement in upper body strength. The beauty of this class is that while you are building strength, you are still stretching back muscles, shoulder muscles, leg muscles, building core strength and learning how to hold your self against gravity.

Circus classes are sold separately from the yoga classes. All Circus classes are all levels, and taught with an open gym concept. Beginners will receive one-on-one assistance getting started, and each student will receive one-on-one instruction to progress through strength drills, tricks, and transitions.

Side effects of Circus class may include: fun, strength, flexibility, body awareness, new friends, and lots of laughter.

Please see the schedule for the circus class for up to date listings.
